Hello world :)

I know I haven't been blogging in a while and that's my fault.I haven't been feeling too great lately. I don't whether it's the lack of sun or that I'm just simply stressed out. I come home every day exhausted and all I want to do sometime is just sit in my bed and watch tv. I know that is not a productive way to spend a day. I don't know what it is. Ever since I started working at Summit Polymers, I have been this way. I have never felt tired at my old job or even when I was at Western. I still managed to go to work, school, labs, spend a day in the library, finishing up my homework, clean the house, cook for the guys and look after my cats every single day. I sometime have less that 4 hours of sleep. Maybe it's just old age I guess or I need a new work environment. Anywho, I made ikan assam pedas and will be posting it tomorrow. In the meantime, I saw this Petronas Deepavali Ad in youtube.com and thought I might as well share a laugh or two with you all. Enjoy it.

HAPPY 2008 EVERYBODY!!!

Happiest New Year to everybody. I just came back from my trip and ready to start blogging again. I just realized that the pictures in my blog aren't working but I think I know the reason why. Please be patient while I update my blog this weekend...since now I'm back to my depressing job at Summit. Blogging on this blog is what keep me sane. Anywho, I'm glad to be back and will start trying out new recipes soon... :)

I couldn't believe...

I got an email from a friend of mine with this video attached to it. At first I thought it was one of those stupid prank video that ask u to stare at it for a couple of minutes and a guy pops up and scares the hell of you. But what I saw was unbelievable. It took me quite a long time to process what it was. I thought that someone had painted the body of the baby with black paint and then I took a good look at her eyes...words cannot express what I was feeling at that time. I read the story that my friend had sent me so I try to translate it as good as can...it goes....

This happened in Makkah, somewhere around this year (2007), the lady that happened to was pregnant with her third child. Her first 2 children are girls and she was very anxious to have a boy. However, during her regular exam, the doctor had done a scan and told her that her baby was a girl. She was quite depressed and sadden by the news because she really wanted a boy. Throughout her pregnancy, whenever anyone ask her whatever her baby is a girl or boy, she would reply that she was pregnant with a baby snake. On the day of her baby's delivery, she gave birth to baby girl but the only thing that was different about her is that her physical appearance does look like the markings on a snake.

After watching the video, I was speechless and I cried. I cried because she doens't deserve this. All babies are innocent.

Apple & Peach Picking

Today I took my friends', Kak Rozi, parents to Coloma to pick some apples and peaches. They were very excited and exhausted, but they had enjoyed their experience. We went again the following week.
