Ello kawan2 sekalian.... I just want to say Selamat Berpuasa. Ada yang tidak puasa hari ni? Sorrylah I haven't been updating my blog lately. Busylah... kalah busy YB. hehehe... Nolah... had alot going on lately and haven't been trying out new recipes. Well, cross that out, I did try Shrimp Wonton on Monday. Have the pictures and recipe but not the time. I also want to update you all on my photoblog. Semua gambar2 glamour you all ada in my photoblog so boleh tengok and download mana yang suka. :)

Last weekend, we drove all the way from Kalamazoo to Romeo Michigan to celebrate their annual Lavender Fest. We headed out around 7:30 in the morning with a few scattered rain. Our hopes were high, we were excited and on we went. We had a very pleasant afternoon. No rain which was quite surprising because it was pouring back in Kalamazoo. We enjoyed each other's company sitting under a big tree with ice cream in one hand, the refreshing smell of lavender from the garden and the alluring musical notes from the harp playing behind us.

It was a wonderful day to pick strawberries. The farm had just opened for the season, and the strawberries were fresh and big. Not like last year when there was barely any left.

I have been looking for this plant forever! I missed the sweet and sugary smell of pandan leaves. It's funny how things you have in an abundance are taken for granted but when needed it's not readily available. You'll be like me, spending a good 2 to 3 hours just searching on google at every green houses here in the US who would actually know what in the world I was talking about. Oh well, I'll just keep on looking. :)

This year instead of putting all my vegetables and flowers in one area, I decided to use the other end of the apartment manager's so-called flower garden. It's the same flowers that blooms every year. So I have my weekend cut out for me. I'll be removing all their flowers and will be planting them at Autoria. At least Autoria has some colors. :)
My tulips has gone and pass....now comes my roses and chilies and cucumbers and sweet peas and tomatoes and...I don't know what else I had planted in those pots... Oh well, it'll be a nice surprise for me. Next year, I'll try and not to get too excited when spring come around and label every pot... :)

As you all know I have been changing the outlook of my blog and it is almost complete. I just need to adjust a few more touches here and there. I have not been trying out new recipes lately. I'll get to it once I am finally satisfied with the outcome of my blog. I would also like to say a big CONGRATULATIONS!!! to my friends, Bob & Azha, on their new baby girl that was born on May 24th 2008. And a shoutout to baby Elle, proud parents of Ah Hin & Lee Ling, on her very first birthday. There are alot of babies born, when will I get my chance? LOL :)
Happy Mother's Day to my own Mommy, both of my grandmas, and to my friends.

Ever wonder how they make those beautiful fondant roses? I was browsing on youtube.com and found a very interesting way to make roses. I've been practicing making roses with buttercream and now I've found an easier way to do it. :)

Happy Valentine's Day everybody!!! I know I haven't been blogging lately. Just a little overwhelm. I have tried a few recipes but I just didn't have the time to post it up. The good news is that it will be posted before the end of the month and I know it's almost the end of the month. I also had done a little sping cleaning on my blog and I'm still trying to finish it up, so please excuse the mess. Anywho, I just wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day and hope to see you all soon. :)

Happiest New Year to everybody. I just came back from my trip and ready to start blogging again. I just realized that the pictures in my blog aren't working but I think I know the reason why. Please be patient while I update my blog this weekend...since now I'm back to my depressing job at Summit. Blogging on this blog is what keep me sane. Anywho, I'm glad to be back and will start trying out new recipes soon... :)

I don't know how many times I have changed the look of my blog. I was never satisfied by the layout and wanted more. I wanted a simple and clean template so today, the whole day, I had wasted my time going online and searching for blog templates. I know that you can rearrange the look of your template but my HTML days has gone by and I don't...well, I'm a dummy at it now. :) I guess I can settle for this one. Until I learn how to write the codes again.
